BEFORE & AFTER
GIRL BOSS OFFICE
We turned this spare bedroom store-it-and-forget-it area into the dream home office for this Girl Boss!
She even has a place to showcase her accessories! The black canvas holds 36 pairs of shoes!!
KIDS ROOM - BEFORE
Not until you clean your room!
How many times have you said this to your kids? Kids crave structure, so they will keep a (somewhat) tidy space if they know where it all goes. Every item should have a home; even if it isn't your ideal home.
Creating a system that makes sense to the kids living in this room has made clean-up a breeze, and they play with each other a lot more with way less bickering.

Activity Stations
Setting up activity stations in a room invites a child to engage in creative play without making a mess. It's easy to know where to return toys and supplies when they are contained in one space; bonus points for labeling!

It also helps to separate the sleeping areas from the activity areas.
KIDS ROOM - ACTIVITY STATIONS
Barbies
Creating a space where all of the toys are ready for play invites a child to jump right into their imagination! This allows more time to play, and less time putting things away when they have a space where they can be readily accessible in a contained space.
TIP: If you have limited space, don't forget to look up! There is a lot of vertical space available in a room.
CLOTHES SORTINGÂ - BEFORE
Sorting through hand-me-down clothes
With a large family, comes a lot of hand-me-down clothes. We dumped all of the clothes in one pile to sort through what the youngest ones could wear. Once we sorted them, we needed to come up with a system that would be quick and easy for the parents AND the kids!

Organize drawers to see all your clothes
Organize clothes so that you can see them all in a row versus needing to shuffle through stacks to find what you're looking for. You may even end up wearing some things that you forgot you had.

Create a system
Take it a step further and place outfits together. This works wonders with the little ones! It makes it simple for them to grab an outfit on their own.
